Job Description
The Associate Director, Global Performance Media will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing data-driven performance marketing campaigns at Bose. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across international markets and channels (DTC, Amazon, and Resellers). The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive revenue growth in a competitive global landscape, with a strong emphasis on incrementality, attribution modeling, and ROI optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute paid media strategies aligned with business objectives and marketing goals.
- Manage media investments across enterprise channels (Amazon, DTC, and Resellers) to maximize ROI, focusing on incrementality.
- Partner with agencies and analytics teams to implement models linking last-click attribution and marketing mix modeling (MMM).
- Ensure forecast accuracy by partnering with analytics & agencies on model calibration
Performance Media Management
- Lead a team of media specialists and collaborate with agencies to optimize global media effectiveness
- Oversee global performance media campaigns across resellers and media channels (paid search, paid social, programmatic display, video, and affiliate marketing).
- Optimize campaigns to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded through real-time performance monitoring.
- Utilize analytics and attribution models to measure success, improve ROI, and allocate budgets efficiently across multiple regions.
- Identify opportunities for audience segmentation, A/B testing, and localization to enhance conversion rates and engagement.
- Foster a test-and-learn culture to drive continuous campaign improvement.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews for the performance marketing team.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, ensuring a high-performance culture.
- Work closely with marketing, analytics, product, integrated marketing, and creative teams to align strategies and maximize impact.
- Partner with finance and sales leadership to optimize investment allocation across accounts and channels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 12 years of experience in performance marketing, digital media, or growth marketing, preferably in consumer electronics or DTC.
- Proven ability to scale paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, DSPs, and other platforms in a high-growth, global environment.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and tracking tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Adobe Analytics).
- Experience implementing test-and-learn strategies for continuous performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of paid search, social, display, and affiliate marketing.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to interpret insights and drive strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
