BOSS METALS INC, We are a metal roll forming manufacturer serving the State of Florida, our goal is to give customers and contractors the most excellent metal roofing products.
Our organization is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general clerical duties: Receive mail, Filing, scanning documents and upload them into our software, answering phone calls, responding to emails and to assist on preparing documents.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Organize and maintain financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Issue and send invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and customers about invoices and payments.
- Gather invoices to be paid weekly.
- Perform data entry into our accounting software programs.
- Ensure error-free statements, records on the jobs and amounts.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual audits.
- Maintain smooth communication with upper management.
Qualifications and Skills Include:
- Bilingual (a plus, but not required).
- Attention to detail (MUST).
- Math skills to handle financial data (MUST).
- Integrity and confidentiality (MUST).
- QuickBooks (MUST).
- Team player.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
