Friendly family in Brookline is looking for a reliable and collaborative nanny for their four-and-a-half-year-old and seven-and-a-half-year-old children. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, CPR/First Aid certified, have a current flu vaccine, and have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. The family would love to find a nanny looking for a long-term role that can grow with them! The job will consist of child-related household tasks (laundry, emptying the dishwasher, changing children's sheets, and tidying up their rooms and play areas) along with picking the children up from school in Newton, planning age-appropriate activities, and preparing breakfast and lunches for the following day. The family maintains a kosher kitchen, so candidates must be open to learning about these dietary practices. Previous experience with a kosher kitchen is not required. Dad / Mom occasionally work from home in a separate space and the nanny will have autonomy during the day. Candidates must be proactive, energetic, punctual, self-motivated, engaging, adaptable, and clear communicators. On-the-job driving is required, so candidates should possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle. Schedule: Guaranteed 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The family would love a nanny who is open to occasionally working additional hours, such as when the children are out of school or if early evening hours are needed. Rate: $30/hour. Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week paid sick leave, Paid holidays Start Date: ASAP – Ideally a training period to begin mid February, with full duties to commence end of February.
