About the BBA

We started in 2019 as a handful of friends sitting around a table at a WeWork in Boston. We had a big idea: Boston could be a global hub for the blockchain industry, thanks to our roots in finance, our deep tech expertise, and our world-leading academic network.


Today we are a global community of over 3,500 blockchain enthusiasts, from institutions to startups, from developers to investors, from educators to students. What we share is a passion for how blockchain technology is changing the world.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for a seasoned business development leader with experience leading sales and relationship management campaigns, developing teams, and navigating organizations across their management functions
  • Strong blockchain, digital asset, fintech, and financial services ecosystem insights
  • A team player that prioritizes a collaborative environment
  • Experience in for profit and non-profit environments
  • Experience being a public speaker and advocate
  • Experience and comfort with Blockchain and digital asset technologies
  • In the MA or New England area to attend all BBA in-person events


Responsibilities

1. Lead corporate and sponsorship development and support BBA corporate memberships

2. Lead Corporate and Sponsorship Member Relationship Management, including renewals

3. Develop and maintain Market demographics related to leading firms in the blockchain, digital assets, AI, Data, and emerging technology verticals

4. Establish and develop pipelines and monthly forecasts to build and expand BBA corporate and sponsorship funding to surpass annual budget targets and expectations

6. Collaborate with the BBA Board on the execution of the annual strategic plans with a specific focus on the running of profitable events, strategic relationships, and marketing

7. Partner to explore all verticals prioritized in the BBA Strategic Plan with the cross functional BBA leaders

8. To be a representative of the BBA in all external events, conferences, and interactions

9. Maintain a collaborative and team player approach to all internal and external relationships
