What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Assistant position at Boston Bolts?
Foundation Phase - Regional Assistant
The role of the Regional Assistant is to work alongside the Regional Director to retain and grow the Foundation Phase (U6-U11) in your region.
This includes, but is not limited to: Head coach for Bolts teams, running Player Development Program clinics (PDP), recruiting and identifying new players from town teams, exploring new town partnership opportunities, working vacation/Summer camps, administering player evaluations and assisting at all tryouts. You also agree to assist other Bolts regions if needs arise, and as long as suitable notice is given for your time.
You will report directly to South Shore Regional Director and also the Foundation Phase Director.
Compensation:
You will be paid $23,000 per annum, paid in monthly installments of $1915. This is contingent on the following:
Head Coach of 2 teams (at full financial value)
Work minimum of 2 separate Fall and 2 Spring PDP's
Work minimum of 2 separate Winter PDP's
Work 1 Vacation Clinic (February, April)
Work 3 Summer Camps (dates and details to follow)
Maintain Financial Equivalency of teams
Perform all operations relating to your role as Head Coach (practice/game attendance and conduct, player evaluations)
Bonus and commission:
For any new Town Partnership you enter into, you will be paid $500 as a one time bonus. This is stipulated as a Town Partner signing a 'Letter of Intent' to enter into a coaching contract with the Boston Bolts.
For any new team that you create from work in towns, clinics and camps, you will receive a $500 bonus (must hit a financial target of 10 full paying players).
Coach Education:
The Boston Bolts agrees to provide adequate on-field training and equipment and continued education regarding the Bolts Style of Play. After 6 months of employment the Bolts agree to cover a financial portion of your next USSF License (consent must be given by the Foundation Phase Director). This is payable over the next 2 years.
