Location Description :
The Boston Harbor Hotel is Bostons premier waterfront hotel, where luxury service is personal. Overview : KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
The primary responsibilities for the Staff Accountant will include but are not limited to :
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and recording of payments.
- Audit daily revenue posting accuracy and operating system transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and policy / procedure control.
- Cross-Train with other accounting functions to support and understand accounts payable, income journal, and payroll functions.
- Provide support and guidance as a team member of the accounting / financial department.
- Respond to external guest calls and inquiries.
- Assist with other special projects or tasks as assigned by Director of Finance or Accounting Manager.
