The Accounting Manager is an integral member of the accounting team, supporting the Controller and VP of Finance with month-end closing, financial reporting and analysis, inventory management, audit, compliance, and continuous improvement goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manages 842 Lease reporting
· Manages Fixed Assets
· Backup for Payroll/Spiff/Commissions/
· Coordinate and participate in inventory cycle counts and year-end valuation for audit.
· Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company’s financial health and performance.
· Support the Controller through the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks to meet the deadline.
· Prepare account reconciliations and analyze results, resolving any discovered issues.
· Assist with annual audit.
· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
· Identify areas of opportunity to standardize, simplify, and streamline processes, aligning with the company’s commitment to continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with various departments to gather insights, support decision-making, and drive financial best practices across the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience. CPA preferred.
· Superior analytical skills with an insatiable curiosity for business. Passionate about turning data into actionable information to drive value.
· Exemplary business partnership, cross-functional collaboration, and organizational management skills.
· Experience with accounting, reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence systems.
· Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
· Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· High professional integrity.
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Support and ability to oversee employees and manage responsibilities.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
