Administrative Assistant/Medical

We currently have a full -time position available for an experienced Administrative Assistant with a medical office background at our Boston Urology Associates office located in Wellesley Hills.
The successful candidate must possess a calm demeanor, be customer (patient) friendly and be flexible.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Scheduling appointments including obtaining demographic and insurance information
Instructing patients re: process for obtaining initial referral for new patient visit
Scheduling outside diagnostic testing
Entering information into electronic medical record system and billing system
Keeping physician's patient and meeting schedules
Ensuring correspondence is sent in a timely manner
Interacting with physician and nurse for prompt response to patients
Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
Requirements include but are not limited to:
Minimum of two (2) years previous medical office experience
High School diploma
Understanding of insurance referral system
Good computer skills
Flexibility
Excellent customer service skills
Good organizational and time management skills a must
