Job Overview:
Boston IVF, managed by RMA, is a leading fertility center seeking a skilled Patient Services Coordinator to join our team in Concord, MA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for maintaining patient satisfaction by answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to non-clinical requests from patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet patients and visitors
- Answer patient phone calls
- Maintain a professional composed demeanor
- Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties; answer questions
- Schedule patient appointments
- Follow physician appointment templates
- Assess schedule conflicts and recommend solutions
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating demographic, financial, and insurance information
- Collect co-pays and patient payments
- Collaborate with nurses to coordinate total patient care
- Work with the Finance Department to ensure all reimbursement/insurance information has been received
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (GED) required. Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year as a medical office receptionist
- Minimum 3 years customer service experience
- Excellent computer skills
- High level of listening skills
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Willingness to rotate to RMANJ satellite offices as needed
