About the Role:
As a Shipping Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate receipt and shipment of goods. You will work closely with the warehouse team to manage inventory levels and ensure that all orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and work closely with other members of the logistics team to ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in shipping and receiving
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification
- Experience with inventory management software
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock counts
- Prepare and package orders for shipment
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Skills:
In this role, you will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all shipments are processed accurately and on time. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with carriers and other members of the logistics team. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds will be critical to your success in this role.
