BPA is seeking a Servicing and Operations Analyst to join a collaborative team in the finance field dedicated to supporting various servicing, administrative and client functions. This is a unique cross- functional opportunity to work directly with a high growth NY based hedge fund and other large financial institutions in a service-oriented environment.
The candidate must possess the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the position, take initiative, be organized and detail oriented as well as possess the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to meeting deadlines. Key responsibilities include:
· Compliance management support
o Assist with agency audits to determine compliance with contracts and Federal/State Regulations
o Assist with reviewing agency call recordings and letters
o Support communications between third-party vendors and clients on inquiries and complaints from borrowers
o Prepare project deliverables including written reports, data files and electronic file management
· Loan portfolio licensing support
o Interface with licensing vendor to ensure applications and reports are timely filed
o Maintain state tracker ensuring it is timely updated and proactively planning for upcoming filings
o Prepare and submit monthly billing for approval
o Conduct various follow-up as needed
· Servicing and monitoring support
o Perform quality control reviews of underwriting and fundings for various platforms involving US and foreign government receivables
o Monitor performance and carryout servicing functions on government receivables portfolio
o Process quality control reports and resolve exceptions to aid in monitoring portfolio performance
o Communicate with and maintain records of borrowers and vendors on account status
o Assist with daily servicing objectives, including updates to databases and documenting activities
· Assist with office administration functions as needed
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or relevant business field preferred
· 3 years of experience in servicing, monitoring or related field
· Strong Excel skills with ability to execute pre-existing procedures and run macros to generate reports while identifying problematic areas within the reports
· Proficient Word and PowerPoint skills
· Self-starter who demonstrates ownership and drive with a commitment to deadlines and ability to adapt to a continuously changing environment
· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Detail oriented to assure accuracy in every transaction performed
· Excellent reading comprehension, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
· Comfortable working on site and commuting to Boca Raton, FL
