Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and prepare instructional materials.
- Help manage classroom behavior and supervise students on field trips.
- Perform other related duties as requested by the Head of School/Principal.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Forty-eight (48) Credit Hours of College Coursework or an Associate's Degree.
- Minimum of two years' experience working with young children.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Certification as a teacher or license as a social worker.
- Fluency in one of the BPS official languages: Spanish, Creole (Cape Verdean), Creole (Haitian), Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, & Somali.
