DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
FSM Accounting & Finance
The Accounting and Finance team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of all financial transactions for FSM and the summarizing, analyzing and reporting of those transactions to our parent company, regulators and tax collection entities. Responsibilities extend to payroll, treasury, tax and compliance and risk management. In addition, the department is dedicated to working with all business and department leaders on financial reporting and controls, setting strategies through budgeting and forecasting, analyzing key operating indicators and trends, and ensuring proper oversight of FSM’s financial resources.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Accountant will primarily be responsible for activities for accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash management entries. This position will also assist the FSM Accounting team with related and general administrative duties.

- Accounts Payable
- Create and update vendor profiles
- Obtain coding and approval for all AP
- Processing Weekly AP disbursements through various vehicles
- Reconciliation of vendor & AP accounts
- Manage sales tax accruals and monthly tax filing
- Manage vendor portals to obtain invoices
- Accounts Receivable
- Create and update client profiles
- Monitor invoicing schedule and generate invoices
- Manage Customer Portals to upload invoices and statements
- Reconcile and manage rebillable invoices
- Apply customer receipts and deposits
- Reconciliation of customer and AR accounts
- Manage Collections through client communication and sales team
- Cash Management
- Monitor and record daily cash activity
- Reconciliation of daily cash flow
- Administrative/Other
- Contract Management
- Insurance Management
- Daily reporting for accounting and internal constituents
- Assist with monthly close tasks
- Ad hoc accounting and finance projects
- Filing, scanning & data collection tasks
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines
- Acute attention to detail and high accuracy level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel highly preferred
- Experience with modular software programs a plus
