Banquet Setup

Best Western Downtown Casper is looking for energetic and outgoing people to join our team! Banquet servers are responsible for providing exemplary service to guests during events such as weddings, conferences, and other special occasions. They ensure that guests are provided with food and drinks in a timely and efficient manner, while also maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Serve food and drinks in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that all guests are satisfied with their meals and drinks
• Clear tables and clean up the banquet hall after the event
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Process correspondence, BEOs, proposals, and contracts effectively.
• Provide excellent service to all BEOs.
• Set up food stations, buffets, cocktail hours, dessert tables.
• Interact with various organizations to ensure their events run smoothly and efficiently.
• Exhibit teamwork and leadership to ensure that the event is setup in an efficient manner.
• Complete the physical set up, cleaning and arrangement of tables & equipment according to BEO.
• Set up tables, chairs, linens with center pieces, silverware, stages, podiums, dancefloor, and av equipment for all events.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
• Previous experience as a banquet server is preferred but not required
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to dress appropriately for events, including wearing a uniform if required
• Reliable Transportation
