Boston’s Pizza, located inside the Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel, serves as a key dining destination for hotel guests and locals alike. With 200 guest rooms and 39,000 sq. ft. of event space, we cater to a diverse clientele, including travelers, business professionals, and event attendees. We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations, ensure high-quality food, and maintain a smooth-running kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
Staff Management
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Create and manage staff schedules to meet business demands.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Menu & Quality Control
- Ensure food is prepared consistently according to Boston’s Pizza standards.
- Work with management to enhance and update menu offerings.
- Monitor portion control and minimize food waste.
Financial & Cost Management
- Manage food and labor costs to maintain profitability.
- Track inventory, control expenses, and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with budgets and financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (ServSafe certification preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
