Job - Labor and Delivery RN Facility - Vail Health Shift - Nights Schedule - 3x12s Ideal Start Date - ASAP Guaranteed Hours - 24 POSITION PURPOSE: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the position. This position is responsible for caring for antepartum patients, laboring patients through childbirth, recovery, and postpartum, lactation education and assistance, providing family centered care including the well newborn and the Level 2 Nursery. Assure expert, compassion, individualize nursing care for patients and families expected. They collaborate with providers, staff and other members of the team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred Experience: One-year clinical experience required. License(s): Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required. Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required. Computer / Typing: Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Education: Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018.
