Duties

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the integrity of sterile items.
• Maintain accurate inventory management of sterile supplies and equipment.
• Assist in the assembly of instrument trays for surgical procedures based on specific requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Document sterilization processes and maintain records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to understand their needs and ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is preferred.
• Experience in sterile processing or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for effective inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals.
