Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team, supporting students in an elementary school setting in Boston. This role is crucial for assisting teachers in providing a positive educational experience for students, particularly those with special needs.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional services to students
- Provide support to students with special needs and diverse learning requirements
- Monitor student progress and engagement during educational activities
- Prepare materials and assist in classroom management
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Qualifications*
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in education or related field preferred
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed

Pay: $25-30 per hour
1099 Contract position
Temporary till the end of the year with possibility to renew
