The College of Communication seeks an Administrator / Academic Advisor will manage and coordinate the operation of the Office of COM Undergraduate Affairs while also serving as an academic advisor to undergraduate students. They serve as a first point of contact for students, families, and other University faculty and staff, with questions regarding the undergraduate experience and academic advising at the College of Communication (COM). They coordinate with the Associate Dean, Director, Associate Directors, Assistant Directors, and Academic Advisors to support the team and Boston University undergraduate students. The position triages and solves moderately complex student and academic administrative issues. They will partner with teammates and University partners on more complex issues. This position is responsible for all aspects of hiring, supervising, training, and budgeting for a student employee staff. This position is heavily involved in processing and communicating undergraduate student information related to: academic records, course registration, graduation, new student orientation, open houses for prospective students and families, admissions, curriculum, awards, and academic advising. Many stakeholder interactions take place over the phone, via Zoom, email, or in-person at our service window.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience required.
- Master's Degree in a field related to higher education preferred.
