The National Emerging Infectious Disease Laboratories at Boston University (NEIDL) is transforming high-consequence infectious disease research to create life-saving medicines, within a vibrant life sciences community committed to global impact. The Research Program Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of any NEIDL U19, P01, or other program project initiatives. They will ensure the successful proposal development, submission and post award management including but not limited to planning, implementation and evaluation of the award initiatives. This position is critical to the success to obtaining collaborative program project sponsored awards with the NEIDL which will collaborate with key NEIDL Principal Investigators, investigators within the BU community as well as collaborators at outside institutions.
Job Duties
Project Planning & Implementation :
- Oversee Investigators in the development and execution of a detailed project plan, including goals, objectives, timelines, and budget allocation.
- Coordinate program requirements and ensure alignment with goals and strategies.
- Collaborate with internal / external teams and program sponsor to design and deliver high-quality programming.
- Coordinate logistics, resources, and support required program implementation.
