As the Senior Project Engineer- Hydrology and Regulatory Compliance, you will be responsible for the design of stormwater management, open channel projects, hydrologic / hydraulic modeling, and preparation of regulatory permit applications. The position can be based at either our South Hackensack, NJ or Chester, NJ office.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare permits for State and Federal regulatory compliance
- Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) analysis, stormwater design, open- channel flow analysis and should have experience with stormwater management regulations
- Complete assignments on a schedule and within the project budgets
- Attend project meetings with the clients
- Passion for continued learning to keep abreast of the changing State and Federal regulations
- Desire to be exposed to a wide variety of engineering challenges
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently
- Manage time efficiently
- Excellent writing skills for preparing reports
- Site plan design
- Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
