Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Project Manager to join our team at Boswell Engineering in New Jersey.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of structural projects, including bridges, culverts, and other transportation-related structures. As a Senior Structural Project Manager, you will be responsible for all phases of project development, from planning and inspection to analysis, design, and report preparation.
You will have the opportunity to work on various types of structures, including bridges, retaining walls, sign structures, waterfront structures, dams, building and parking garage structures, and pump stations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead structural project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Analyze and interpret complex data to inform project decisions and recommendations.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and designs for approval by regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support project history and lessons learned.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- An Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey.
- At least 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the transportation sector.
- NJDOT and NJ Turnpike Authority experience is required.
- NHI Certification for Bridge Inspection Courses is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and provide leadership when needed.
