POSITION SUMMARY
As the Temporary Marketing Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting the overall Marketing Department, Event Management, and branch support initiatives. Activities include, but are not limited to, collateral management, assistance with company sponsored events, marketing administrative tasks, and assistance with internal communication programs and customer communication programs. This role is highly visible in the bank and requires a high level of professionalism and self-awareness. In this role, you are required to be extremely flexible to meet the overall demands of the department and ultimately the bank.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent related training and experience preferred
- Work extended hours to support Bank events, PR events, and Employee Events required
- Travel to local branches when needed required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for day-to-day coordination of marketing tasks
- Support the Marketing Department’s initiatives by assisting with planning, executing, and tracking results of marketing campaigns
- Process Marketing and PR invoices
- Stock, clean, organize, fill order requests, and oversee the marketing storage room and materials from internal supply
- Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials ensuring all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed
- Manage the Marketing Department email inbox and distribute to appropriate responsible party
- Process business card orders to vendor
- Assist with collateral and branch standards
- Send marketing team meeting agendas and draft minutes from meetings
- Gather supplies and help with PR events
- Organize, inventory and catalog marketing storage rooms and event supplies
- Assist with scheduling meetings and travel for the department
- Manage brand ambassador points and perks
- Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements
- Actively support the ongoing development of a culturally diverse workforce
- Complete other duties as assigned as determined by management to be reasonable and beneficial
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate with customers, community members, organizational leaders, vendors, management and other co-workers, both individually and in front of a group. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time is common as is traveling to meet with community members, organizational leaders and vendors in various locations, including but not limited to offices, event venues, and restaurants. Must be able to accurately gather and process verbal and written information and properly prepare or inspect documents. Good manual dexterity is needed for the frequent use of common, and mobile office equipment, such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers and telephones. Regular lifting up to 50lbs may be required. Occasional out-of-town or overnight travel may be required.
