Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training and development, and benefits administration. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business goals.
- Oversee recruitment and hiring processes, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
- Manage job postings across various platforms to ensure visibility and attract qualified candidates.
- Establish and maintain employee relations programs to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Design and execute employee training and development programs.
- Manage performance evaluation and improvement systems.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and cost-effective offerings.
- Manage paid time off (PTO) requests and ensure accurate tracking and compliance with company policies.
- Handle employment verifications, ensuring timely and accurate responses to requests.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain consistency across all locations.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, advising on workforce planning and HR best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-department environment
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus
