Along with displaying your innate organizational skills by keeping the workspace organized, you'll be grading and sorting materials for upcoming projects.

Job Description
Position: Moss Production Assistant
Dept: Production
Reports To: Moss Production Manager
Part-Time
Summary: The Moss Production Assistant will provide support for the Moss Production Team, assisting with the fabrication of preserved moss walls. (S)he must possess the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other production team members to ensure projects are completed on time and at the highest level of quality. The Moss Production Assistant will present a professional image (internally and externally) while displaying a friendly, approachable demeanor, and will be a champion of the Botanical Designs company core values.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce preserved moss walls/moss art with the support of the Moss Production Manager.

Complete projects under deadline while meeting the highest level of quality.

Grade and sort materials for upcoming projects.

Help manage materials inventory at the direction of Moss Production Manager to include receiving shipments, monitoring and updating Moss Production Manager on physical inventory, etc.

Monitor and maintain warehouse for cleanliness and safety.

Assist in packaging and shipping of projects via freight– includes being present for freight pick-ups.

Ability to follow written and verbal design guides to produce moss pieces with guidance from the Moss Production Manager.

Experience in design or art ability is a plus, but not a requirement.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
