Moss Adams is currently seeking entry-level Tax Staff in our Spokane location.
Tax Staff are primarily responsible for preparing tax returns, including supporting work papers for various types of returns such as individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, non-profits, etc. Tax Staff also research and consult on various tax projects; respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities, prepare extensions and quarterly estimates, and conduct other projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, STEM OPT)
- Must have a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for accounting majors
- Must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon full-time hire
- Ability to commute as needed throughout the region; to include Moss Adams' offices
- Ability to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office locations
- Seasonal flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Major in Accounting or coursework in technology-related fields highly desirable
- Master of Tax or JD/LLM preferred
- Reside within a commutable distance of a Moss Adams office and be willing to work from the office on a regular basis
- Excellent customer service skills: Ability to understand own and others' emotions to achieve desired goals
- Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in a professional setting

Salary : $75,600 - $78,000
