Job Description:
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tax relief efforts by meticulously analyzing financial records and preparing accurate reports. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and categorizing transactions from bank statements for expenses.
- Creating detailed Profit & Loss (P&L) reports to provide a clear financial overview.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
- Collaborating with the team to meet tight deadlines and deliver timely reports.
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the tax or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with tax-related financial tasks.
- Familiarity with P&L preparation and expense categorization.
- Certified Bookkeeper or similar accreditation is a plus.
