Position Overview
We seek a proactive and skilled Corporate Litigation Specialist or Lateral Attorney to join our accomplished legal team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to engage in complex litigation, working collaboratively with experienced attorneys in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in a range of litigation matters, including business disputes and commercial litigation.
- Conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
- Engage in all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and conducting depositions.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies that align with clients' objectives.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients throughout their case.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Virginia.
- At least two years of experience in litigation, ideally in business and commercial disputes or real estate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and case management skills.
