- Experience: 5 years in talent acquisition, recruitment, and HR management, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Legal Industry Expertise: A strong understanding of the legal recruitment landscape and a proven track record in hiring attorneys, especially in personal injury or related fields.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives, mentor teams, and influence firm leadership on hiring and culture decisions.
- Recruitment Mastery: Strong experience in sourcing, screening, and hiring attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across multiple levels.
- HR Management: Experience handling employee relations, compliance, conflict resolution, performance management, and other key HR responsibilities.
- Cultural Fit: A passion for fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes our core values.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with HR software and modern recruitment techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for attorneys, paralegals, and staff, with a focus on personal injury law.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Build strong relationships with law schools, recruitment agencies, and professional organizations.
- Organize and attend career fairs, networking events, and webinars to increase firm visibility.
Human Resources Management:
- Oversee all HR functions including employee relations, performance management, benefits, payroll, and compliance.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives to maintain a positive and productive firm culture.
- Advise leadership on organizational development, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Address HR-related issues such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances in a fair and legally compliant manner.
Firm Development:
- Work closely with firm leadership to understand staffing needs and build effective recruitment strategies aligned with firm growth.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and long-term business goals.
