What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Instructor position at Bottle and Bottega?
Bottle & Bottega Park Ridge is looking for artist instructors, preferably living with in 6 miles radius from the studio.
Bottle & Bottega engages local artists to teach their work and the work of other artists to guests at our public, private, corporate, kids and fundraising events. We also conduct events using alternative media such as wood pallet, mosaics, glass painting and live model.Must have experience working with Acrylics.
INSTRUCTOR PAY RATES
Pay rate varies from $18/hour to $25/hr
Artists are expected to teach any piece from the Bottle & Bottega library.
AT THE STUDIO
Public events:
These events typically take place at our studio weekdays from 6:00 - 9:00 and at varying times on weekends. Most public events begin with a half-hour of cocktails and snacks, and the art portion takes up the remaining 2.5 hours.
Private or corporate events:
These events typically run 3 hours. Most private events begin with an hour of guest free time for cocktails and snacks, and the art portion takes up the remaining 2 hours.
Kids events:
These events typically run 2 hours and typically occur from 10am – 1pm on Sunday. Most kids parties begin with a 60- or 90-minute art portion followed by guest free time for gifts and snacks.
