Warehouse associate will be responsible for sorting, loading/ unloading, and separating products and performing various activities to support the company’s warehouse and yard daily operations. ESSENTIAL WAREHOUSE FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Interfaces between, Materials and Field personnel to identify and prepare materials needed.
- Organize, re-stock and prepare inventory to meet jobsite requirements for use on future projects.
- Support project foreman and/or delivery driver(s) in the loading and off-loading of materialsAssist office and warehouse staff in miscellaneous projects including but not limited to office swaps, minor repairs, assembly/disassembly of office furniture, boxing, and storing of files.
- Responsible for inventory cycle counts
- Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DRIVER FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB- (Approximately 20% or as needed basis)
- Perform duties of a driver as needed
- Transport a variety of materials, supply, and equipment to various ongoing jobsites.
- Ability to perform truck inspection prior to deliveries.
- Perform weekly upkeep to company trucks.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have at least 3 years of driving experience and a good driving record.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment gathering orders.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Recognizes the relative importance of certain tasks and responsibilities and has the ability to prioritize to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Actively demonstrates commitment by maintaining a consistent work schedule.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Highly adaptable and flexible with ability to work independently and/ or team environment.
- Ability to skillfully and safely operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Pay Range: $18.89-$25.19/hr based on experience.
Salary : $19 - $25
