We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Kennel Attendant to join our team. This position involves caring for our boarding dogs and cats, as well as assisting with various tasks to ensure the cleanliness and organization of our facility. The Kennel Attendant will work either the morning or evening shift, depending on scheduling needs.
Responsibilities:
- Walk and play with dogs of all temperaments
- Supervise playtimes for day boarding dogs
- Prepare and feed boarding dogs and cats
- Clean litter boxes, kennels, playroom, and play yard
- Wash dishes and laundry
- Take out garbage
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Ability to handle dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work morning or evening shifts as assigned
