Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Weekend Stipend
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
$44.08 - $62.12 an hour - Full-Time Nights, 36 hours per week
**Range includes night differential. $2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking an RN, L&D, who participates in the accomplishment of Boulder Community Health's and the Family Birth Center's mission, vision and goals by utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and provide direct patient care.
Weekend Stipend Pay Guidelines:
Defined as 48 hours worked hours within a pay period; Two 12hr shifts per week.
12hr weekend shifts will be worked on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday
Day and Night shift are eligible
Eligible for all premium pay and differentials - weekends, nights, incentive, holiday and overtime pay
RN commits to two weekend shifts every weekend with 6 weekends off during one calendar year. Weekend employee may choose to use PTO to supplement these weekends off, may work two weekday shifts in lieu of weekend shifts, or may chose work the routine weekend schedule.
Weekend position will receive $750 stipend every month (every four weeks) for 12 months if they maintain commitment to weekend schedule.

Qualifications
Colorado RN license in good standing.
BLS certification required by end of conditional period.
NRP for Family Birth Center required by end of conditional period.
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire for L&D
1 year of L&D experience required
Responsibilities
The RN is responsible for the assessment of the patients and their families' biopsychosocial and spiritual needs to meet their self-care, educational, environmental, safety and discharge goals.
The RN is accountable for the assessment of the ancillary staff competencies and appropriateness of delegation for data collection for the above factors.
The RN is accountable for ongoing coordination, evaluation and revision of the patients' plan of care, utilizing feedback from the patient/family and the health care team.
