Boulder County Community Services Department is seeking to hire a Behavioral Health Assistance Program Supervisor. The Community Justice Services (CJS) Behavioral Health Assistance Program (BHAP) Supervisor of four staff who offer re-entry/ case management services to individuals in the Boulder County Jail transitioning to the community with moderate to severe behavioral health needs.
This is a full-time, benefited position. This position will work Monday through Friday during regular business hours; schedule can be flexible. This position will work out of the Boulder County Jail at 3200 Airport Rd, Boulder, CO 80301. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is exempt.
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $72,360.00 - $88,284.00 Annually

Examples of Duties
- Coordination of projects, and program planning which includes implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Manage strategic system partnerships, including oversight of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), contracts, and program budget.
- Supervise and support contract employees, including training, onboarding, and providing ongoing guidance and supervision.
- Develop a strategic action plan to improve outcomes for justice involved individuals by expanding treatment and recovery-oriented services to those in the jail, and to connect those reentering the community with case management and linkage to treatment and wrap-around services to reduce the risk of relapse and subsequent return to jail. Support change management throughout CJS by identifying what is working well, working with supervisory staff to support innovations and organizational agility and measure change effectiveness.
- Manage daily unit operations, including but not limited to, directly supervising staff, assign caseloads, provide spot supervision, review and approve timecards, develop team dynamics, ensure staff performance standards and recruit/hire new staff as needed.
- Analyze data to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and determine areas of success and improvement.
- Participation in CJS and County wide leadership opportunities.
- May be re-assigned during emergency situations.
- Any other work duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
