Boulder County Clerk and Recorders Office is seeking to hire a Part-time Bilingual Title Clerk.
The Boulder County Clerk and Recorder's Office provides the best in public service through its three divisions: Motor Vehicle, Recording, and Elections. We have an outstanding reputation in fulfilling this mission, and we are seeking a Part-time Bilingual (Spanish) Motor Vehicle Title Clerk who will bring a passion for public service to ensure excellent service for our citizens. The Motor Vehicle Division is responsible for the accurate titling and registering of all Boulder County vehicles and issuing disability placards. We are team of 52 staff with three different branch locations: Boulder, Longmont, and Lafayette. This position will work in the Boulder branch and may be required to work in other branches as needed.
The ideal candidate loves working with the public in a team environment, collaborating with other staff to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards while having fun. In addition, the ideal candidate demonstrates accountability for meeting job duties; a willingness to find ways to assist the public while ensuring compliance standards are met; experience with data entry; close attention to detail; ability to quickly learn and apply complex rules and regulations; and enjoyment of rule/statute-oriented work duties. Commitment to ensuring we provide services to community members who have historically been excluded is vital to fulfilling our mission of providing the best in public service. This person must be committed to building a culture where individuals from any background can be successful, which includes ongoing work around disrupting patterns, systems, and behaviors of inequity and exclusion.
This is a part time, benefited position that will work 20 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position will work out of 1750 33rd St. Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $25,002.00 Annually

- Assist the public with vehicle title and registration procedures, asking questions to determine the appropriate course of action
- Complete VIN inspections
- Balance cash drawer each day correctly
- Process mail
- Log and track all incoming and outgoing motor vehicle documents
- Assist with special projects
- Participate in regular meetings with supervisor, contributing ideas, concerns, and solutions
