Description

Boulder County Human Services Department is seeking to hire a Content Management Technician to perform complex and specialized tasks unique to a particular office and / or technical support work. This position requires a thorough knowledge of departmental operations, administrative procedures, and a considerable degree of independent judgment. The position is responsible for receipt, preparation, scanning, indexing and validation of incoming documents in multiple formats. The ideal candidate will have advanced computer skills, ability to multi-task and make sound judgements in a fast-paced, high stress environment, capable of independent judgment while also working with other team members to meet strict deadlines.

This is a full-time, benefited position that will work, Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm .This position will work out of Boulder and Longmont, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).

Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.

Hiring Salary Range : $51,408.00 - $62,766.00 Annually

Tentative Hiring Timeline :

  • Phone Screening : January 28th
  • First Round Interviews : January 30th
  • Second Round Interviews : February 5th
  • Reference Check : February 6th

New employees receive an 80-hour bank of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month (Must not have been employed at Boulder County during the 12 months prior to re-hire date to qualify). Examples of Duties

  • Provides excellent customer service with a high degree of professionalism while interacting with customers, staff, and the public to resolve problems, answer questions, and provide general information
  • Reviews, verifies, and processes documents using expertise in departmental procedures, state statutes, and legal forms
  • Prepares, scans, collates, binds, digitalizes, and faxes documents for all of Boulder County Housing and Human Services programs depending on priority
  • Performs detailed level of data entry of a variety of index fields associated with each document class type categorization
  • Conducts basic research, compile, analyze, and interpret information related to a case to objectively determine the appropriate course of action on a document
  • Ensures documents are clear and indexed properly by performing quality control checks according to established imaging procedures
  • Systematically locate and correct issues with complex machines, electronics, computers, and software systems
  • Provides input into the development and revision of processes and procedures
  • Assist other employees on difficult support and technical imaging problems
  • Develops expertise in a multitude of state software systems
  • Analyzes and formats requests for modification and enhancements or systems and processes based on team and customer feedback
  • Performs related work, as required
  • May be reassigned in emergency situations

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

    Boulder County is looking for well qualified candidates to fill our positions. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of office experience. Additional related education may count toward required experience.

  • Vacation and Medical leave are based off of full time FTE accruals. Part-time FTE / term employees accrue leave based on the percentage of time they work.
