We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary: Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking candidates who have an interest in pursuing a career in Audiology to join our team! This position is benefit eligible working full-time 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

- Day shift schedules are Monday through Friday.
- Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties:
- Appropriately answer/demonstrate general hearing and service issues questions, including but not limited to: hearing aid insertion.
- Perform in office repairs, battery/hearing aid checks, and cleanings.
- Enter all audiograms into the NOAH software.
- Prepares examination/treatment rooms for provider’s use by ensuring that appropriate supplies, equipment, and instruments are available and ready on a daily basis. Maintains examination/treatment rooms in a neat and orderly manner.
- Provides additional basic instructions and basic information to patients regarding medical care as ordered by the provider (i.e., use of specific medications, etc.)
- Correctly schedules appointments according to provider preference and scheduling protocol. Displays awareness of and compliance with scheduling changes. Utilizes scheduling protocol as need for each department and assist in updating as needed.
- Participates in on-going Electronic Medical Records (EMR) learning opportunities. Communicates with department providers any EMR clerical duties that could assist the back office.
Experience and Skills:
- Must use good judgment, professionalism and discretion when screening telephone calls, answering inquires and relaying appropriate information.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain phone etiquette using tact and diplomacy.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Must possess strong grammar and spelling ability as well as the ability to read, write and understand the English language.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance, preferred.
Education:
- Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Hearing Sciences.
Previous Experience:
- Four (4) years of previous work experience involving public contact, preferably in health with heavy phone experience.
- Previous experience with patient scheduling in a hospital or clinic setting, highly desired.
- Bi-lingual ability (Spanish), a plus.
The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience:
- $18.91 - $25.21/hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36)
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
