Boulder Medical Center is looking for a full-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our Human Resources (HR) team! This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
As the HR Assistant, you participate in recruitment efforts. You facilitate the onboarding process of new employees, maintain the accuracy of the HRIS system, and assist in maintaining credentials for our physicians and clinical support team. You will also own the coordination of the student clinical rotation program.

You facilitate the onboarding process of new employees, maintain the accuracy of the HRIS system, and assist in maintaining credentials for our physicians and clinical support team. You will also own the coordination of the student clinical rotation program.

- Tracks and monitors Employee Referral program, documenting recipients and communicating with Payroll to ensure payments of referral bonuses are logged and processed accurately.
- Perform audits of the ATS and HRIS system on all new hire information.
- Prepare all New Hire materials and logistics for the employees first day. Assists in New Hire Orientation and building tour and ensures applicable onboarding documents are completed. Follow up on missing or incomplete paperwork.
- Maintains accurate documentation of verification in accordance with applicable federal, state and local law.
- Prepares and maintains 45-day, 90-day and annual employee evaluations.
- Prepare all exit packages and logistics for an employees last day. Maintains exit interview surveys
- Creates and maintains all employee personnel files accurately and completely.
- Provides RTD Eco Pass to all eligible employees. Administers the activation and deactivation of cards as appropriate.
- Issues BMC ID badges for all employees (new hires and replacements for employees whose are lost or stolen) and communicates time clock and security information to applicable departments.
- Maintains recognition programs, monitoring and recording award recipients.
- Owns the full onboarding and off-boarding cycle for all Medical Staff-sponsored student clinical rotations and/or onsite shadow process.
- Verifies the current credentials of all Nursing staff (MAs, LPNs and RNs). Maintains a list of credentialed and non-credentialed Nursing staff (Medical Assistants, LPNs, and RNs) and sends the updated list to the Nursing department monthly. Maintains Paylocity tracking of licensure.
- Assist in maintaining licenses for all BMC providers and facilities.
- Assist in maintaining all provider and facility BMC credentialing files and external profiles.
Skills and Abilities:
- Assimilates and applies new job-related information in a timely manner.
- Effectively manages time and resources to ensure that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly.
- Adjusts to changes in department processes or tasks quickly. Is proactive and takes prompt action to accomplish tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small.
- Maintains confidentiality and is detail-oriented.
- Bachelors degree in business, HR Management or related field, preferred. Familiarity with employment law and HRIS systems, required.
- 0-3 years of progressively responsible experience in an HR role or HR processes. Previous experience in a clinic or hospital setting desired.
- 6 months
- $22.88-$26.69 per hour depending on experience.
