The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services. This position involves supporting the Food & Beverage Director in overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist with bartending duties as needed, including preparing drinks and serving customers.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial reporting.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring new staff members to build a strong team.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director to develop menus, promotions, and special events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with bartending is a plus.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
