Assistant Food Beverage Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services. This position involves supporting the Food & Beverage Director in overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong resturaunt management skills and a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality.

Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Assist with bartending duties as needed, including preparing drinks and serving customers.

Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial reporting.

Participate in interviewing and hiring new staff members to build a strong team.

Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director to develop menus, promotions, and special events.

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the Country Club industry.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment.

Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
