Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Houseman to support our booming banquet department. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in ensuring our event spaces are prepared and maintained to the highest standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth execution of events, making sure every detail is perfect for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Setup & Breakdown:
- Assist with the setup and teardown of banquet and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other items to meet event specifications.
- Ensure all event areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Maintain the cleanliness of banquet spaces before, during, and after events, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking restrooms and other areas.
- Ensure equipment and furniture are in excellent condition and address any issues promptly.
- Support for Event Operations:
- Provide general support during events, including assisting servers, coordinating deliveries, and responding to event staff and guest needs.
- Help transport items, such as food, beverages, and equipment, to the appropriate locations as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or banquet setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a supportive team.
