Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Serve customers efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, including food storage areas.
- Handle food safely and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell additional products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Handle all maintenance of the truck
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Experience in the food industry, including roles in cafés or grocery stores is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math applications.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer experience.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on helping customers.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
