As an Activities Manager (i.e, Therapeutic Recreation Specialist), you will be responsible for planning and providing an ongoing program of activities for residents and patients in a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation setting, that encourage physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. Qualifications:
- Two (2 ) years of social or recreational program experience within the last five years (one of which must have been full-time in a residential activities program in a health care setting) OR
- Completion of a state approved Therapeutic or Recreational Activities training program OR
- Must qualify as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is preferred
