What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembly Technician position at Bounce Imaging?
We're looking for a talented, creative, and flexible assembly and electronics technician to join our global team as we build cutting edge solutions to keep first responders, warfighters, and civilians safer every day.
A Bounce Imaging Assembly and Electronics Technician will work directly with our best-in-class engineering team and award-winning manufacturing partners. You'll build prototypes of cutting edge camera and robot systems, debug challenging new electronics, and use your creative skills to contribute to making the best technology for the toughest environments.
As an Assembly and Electronics Technician you will:
* Assemble camera, robot, drone, and other prototypes with the guidance of our engineering team
* Debug new and damaged PCBs to repair and/or identify design changes
* Solder wires, cables, and board components
* Operate and maintain 3D printers to rapid prototype
* Provide your ideas and input as we continuously improve our technology based on end user and manufacturing feedback
**Qualifications**
* Associate’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience (e.g. military service)
* Proficient in soldering of small components (0201)
* Experience assembling sensitive electronics
* PCB rework experience
* Basic computer skills
* Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
* Excellent time management skills
* Highly energetic self-starter
* Able to multi-task among shifting priorities
**Ideal but not required**
* Experience with 3D printers
* Experience with camera and lens assembly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
