Requirements
Responsibilities
· Preparing/Reviewing daily journal entries of fund’s books and records
· Preparing monthly position, cash, market value and accrual reconciliations
· Preparing monthly performance estimates
· Build and maintain fund accrual schedules
· Handling key financial processes such capital calls, distribution notices and broader responsibilities across treasury, valuations, investor relations, and reporting.
· Working with our portfolio investment managers to prepare documentation on new deals.
· Ad Hoc projects
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have many, if not all, of the attributes below:
· BS/BA in accounting or finance, 3-7 years experience within the financial services industry.
· Fund accounting experience working with hedge/private equity funds
· Strong computer skills: Advanced Excel, Word, Adobe
· General knowledge of financial instruments (i.e. equities, fixed income, options) within both domestic and global securities markets
· Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client relationship management
· Strong working knowledge of journal entries, financial statements, and fund operations (hedge funds and/or mutual funds)
· Strong accounting and analytical skills
