A leader in freight forwarding and logistics services, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial and operational compliance functions of the company. Reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with the Finance Director in China, this role will manage a team of accounting professionals and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong background in logistics, a proactive attitude, and exceptional organizational skills.
Salary Range : $80,000 - $90,000 / year DOE
Accounting Manager Responsibilities :
- Monitor and analyze financial statements
- Prepare cash flow forecasts
- Maintain legal and secretarial documents as assigned as Treasurer
- Credit control, outstanding balance reviews, and payment approvals
- Troubleshoot and review general ledgers
- Supervise and train the accounting team
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Optimize workflows within the accounting department
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for the group and local entities
- Generate profit and loss reports and complete balance confirmations with group companies
- Manage mandatory semi-annual audits with external consultants, adhering to US GAAP and IFRS
- Collaborate with auditors to meet deadlines
- Coordinate federal and state income tax filings with CPA
- Ensure financial and operational compliance with all regulations
- Develop and manage the company s annual budget
- Oversee banking facilities, including lines of credit and letters of credit
