Director Of Fund Development And Marketing Responsibilities
- Lead and implement fund development strategies to increase funding from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other donors
- Develop and execute annual marketing and fundraising plans in collaboration with the CEO and Board of Directors
- Oversee and manage major and planned giving, donor relations, and stewardship programs
- Direct and supervise the Fund Development team
- Enhance and oversee donor engagement programs, improving existing processes and strategies
- Manage fundraising events, donor mailing lists, and budget reports related to fundraising efforts
- Drive endowment growth
- Represent the organization at chamber meetings, donor events, and other networking opportunities
- Oversee strategic communications, including social media, newsletters, donor reports, and press releases
- Serve as an active member of the Fund Development Committee, contributing to long-term growth strategies
- Minimum 10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience
- Expertise in annual giving, major gifts, corporate and foundation solicitation, and donor stewardship
- Strong understanding of fund development best practices, theories, and techniques
- 5 years of leadership experience, managing fundraising and marketing teams
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Nonprofit Administration, Marketing, or Sales
- Certified Fund-Raising Executive is a plus
- Must have strong community ties
- Valid driver’s license and insurance required
