A fast-growing, boutique divorce and family law firm in White Plains, NY is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to manage a caseload of complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, surrogacy, and prenuptial agreements. Salary Range : $120,000 - $180,000 / year DOE
Associate Attorney Responsibilities :
- Provide legal counsel and representation for clients in various matrimonial and family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorce, child custody petitions, and prenuptial agreements
- Manage a caseload of 20-30 complex family law cases simultaneously
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, agreements, and contracts
- Conduct legal research to ensure accuracy and relevance in representation
- Uphold strict client confidentiality and professional ethics
- Participate in continued legal education and workshops to stay current with legal developments
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality, client-centered service
- Bill 35 hours per week, with the opportunity for performance bonuses based on billable hours and referrals
