Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000 / year DOE
Labor & Employment Attorney Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse caseload of labor and employment matters, including litigation, compliance, and counseling
- Conduct extensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda
- Manage discovery, prepare legal documents, and assist in trial preparation
- Advise clients on employment policies, termination procedures, workplace investigations, and regulatory compliance
- Work on complex employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour cases
- Represent employers in federal and state courts, arbitration, and before administrative agencies
- Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions, contributing to case development
- Collaborate with shareholders and senior attorneys to provide top-tier legal services
- 2-3 years of dedicated experience in labor and/or employment law
- Strong legal research and writing skills; ability to analyze complex legal issues
- Litigation experience, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- A background in business law, contract law, or commercial litigation is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple cases with varying levels of complexity
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Must be mature, polished, professional, and confident in client interactions
- Admission to the Washington State Bar
