A thriving civil engineering firm is seeking an experienced PE Civil Engineer with 10-15 years of land development experience to step into a leadership role and eventually become a partner in the firm. This position is ideal for a self-starter who excels in project management, business development, and client relations within the private land development sector.
Salary Range : $145,000 - $200,000 / year DOE
PE Civil Engineer Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage private sector land development projects
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from proposals and planning to execution and closeout
- Serve as the engineer in responsible charge of multiple projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with private clients and national homebuilders
- Provide cost estimating and budgeting using Excel
- Utilize AutoCAD for project design and development
- Occasionally visit job sites
- Take an active role in business development to bring in new projects
- Work closely with leadership and transition into a partner role
